468. Dua for Sneezing
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, If one of you sneezes, let him say:
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
Alhamdu lillaah
Translation
All praise is for Allah.
Section: Duas for sneezing
469. Dua for Sneezing (Ala kulli haal)
Or If anyone sneeze, you will say -
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ (عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ)
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ (عَلٰى كُلِّ حَالٍ)
Alhamdu lillaahi ('alaa kulli haal)
Translation
Praise is to Allah in all circumstances.
470. Dua after Someone Sneezes (Response to sneeze)
If you hear the sneezer say (Alhamdulillah), the listener will say -
يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ
يَرْحَمُكَ اللّٰهُ
Yarhamuk-Allah
Translation
May Allah have mercy upon you.
