Calming Down One's Hair
Sunan an-Nasai
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عِيسَى، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَأَى رَجُلاً ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ فَقَالَ " أَمَا يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يُسَكِّنُ بِهِ شَعْرَهُ " .
It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "The Prophet [SAW] came to us and saw a man with wild hair. He said: 'Could this man not find anything with which to calm down his hair?'"
