The Book of Oaths and Vows

35/25. Chapter:

A Vow Does Not Bring Anything Forward Nor Put It Back

Sunan an-Nasai

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'A vow does not bring anything forward or put it back; it is just a means of taking wealth from the miserly.'"
