Sunan an-Nasai

أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ جَهَنَّمَ مَسِيرَةَ مِائَةِ عَامٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever fasts one day in the cause of Allah, the mighty and sublime, Allah will separate him the distance of one hundred years from the fire."
