The Virtue Of Removing A Harmful Thing From The Road

Sahih Muslim

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ شَجَرَةً كَانَتْ تُؤْذِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَطَعَهَا فَدَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying that there was a tree which caused inconvenience to the Muslims; a person came there and cut that (tree) (and thus entered ) Paradise).
