The command to accept invitations
Sahih Muslim
حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ، أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ائْتُوا الدَّعْوَةَ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ " .
" Abdullah b. Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messen- ger (ﷺ) as saying: Come to the feast, when you are invited.
