16/4. Chapter:
The prohibition of being married to a woman and her paternal aunt or maternal aunt at the same time
Sahih Muslim
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَعْنٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا " .
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: One should not combine in marriage a woman with her father's sister, or her mother's sister.
