The best of charity is that which is given when one is healthy and inclined to be stingy
Sahih Muslim
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ .
This hadith has been narrated with the same chain of transmitters except with this change (of words): " Which charity is most excellent?"
