What severs the Prayer

Sunan Ibn Majah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَقْطَعُ الصَّلاَةَ الْكَلْبُ الأَسْوَدُ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ الْحَائِضُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The prayer is severed by a black dog and a woman who has reached the age of menstruation.”
