10/153. Chapter:
To finish the Salat (prayer) with Taslim along with the Imam
وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَسْتَحِبُّ إِذَا سَلَّمَ الإِمَامُ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ.Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما liked for those offering Salat (prayers) behind the Imam to say Taslim (immediately) after the Imam had said it.
Sahih Bukhari
حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ عِتْبَانَ، قَالَ صَلَّيْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَلَّمْنَا حِينَ سَلَّمَ.
Narrated `Itban bin Malik: We prayed with the Prophet (ﷺ) and used to finish our prayer with the Taslim along with him.
