Call to Prayers (Adhaan)

10/30. Chapter:

Superiority of the congregational Salat (prayer)

Whenever Al-Aswad missed the congregational Salat (prayer) he used to go to another mosque (to offer the Salat in congregation). Once, Anas came to a mosque where the Salat was finished; he pronounced the Adhan and then Iqama and offered the Salat in congregation.

Sahih Bukhari

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The prayer in congregation is twenty five times superior to the prayer offered by person alone."
