6/3. Chapter:
To recite the Qur'an while lying in the lap of one's own menstruating wife
وَكَانَ أَبُو وَائِلٍ يُرْسِلُ خَادِمَهُ وَهْيَ حَائِضٌ إِلَى أَبِي رَزِينٍ، فَتَأْتِيهِ بِالْمُصْحَفِ فَتُمْسِكُهُ بِعِلاَقَتِهِ.Abu Wa’il used to send his menstruating maid servant to bring the Qur’an from Abi Razin by carrying it from the hanger (of its case).
Sahih Bukhari
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، سَمِعَ زُهَيْرًا، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ابْنِ صَفِيَّةَ، أَنَّ أُمَّهُ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَتَّكِئُ فِي حَجْرِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ.
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to lean on my lap and recite Qur'an while I was in menses.
