Regarding the woman of Juhainah whom the prophet (pbuh) ordered to be stoned
Sunan Abi Dawud
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا . يَعْنِي فَشُدَّتْ .
Al-Auza’i said: The word shukkta means tied, meaning her clothes were tied on her.
