The View That Atonement Is Necessary If A Man Vows To Disobey Allah
Sunan Abi Dawud
حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَىَّ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ، مَوْلَى لِبَنِي ضَمْرَةَ - وَكَانَ أَيَّمَا رَجُلٍ - أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الرُّعَيْنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِ يَحْيَى وَمَعْنَاهُ .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Sa'id al-Ru'aini with the same chain as narrated by Yahya (b. Sa'id) and to the same effect.
