776. Dua for Anger Relief and Protection from Fitna
I said,” Ya Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Don’t you teach me a dua which I will recite only for me? Prophet (ﷺ) said, ”Obviously! Say:
اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ اِغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِيْ وَأَذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قَلْبِيْ وَأَجِرْنِيْ مِنْ مُضِلاَّتِ الْفِتَنِ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنَا
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ ࣘ النَّبِيِّ اِغْفِرْ لِيْ ذَنْۢبِيْ وَاَذْ هِبْ غَيْظَ قَلْبِيْ وَاَجِرْنِيْ مِنْ مُّضِلَّاتِ الْفِتَنِ مَا اَحْيَيْتَنَا
Allaahumma rabba muhammadin nabiyyi ighfir li dhanbi wa adh'hib gahiza qalbi wa ajirni min mudhillatil fitani maa ahyaitanaa
Translation
Ya Allah, Rabb of prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)! Forgive my sins. Remove anger from my heart and give me protection from confusing trial untill you give us death.
