695. Dua for Good in Life and Hereafter (Rabbana Dua)
The supplication that the Prophet (ﷺ) made very frequently is this:
اَللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
اَللّٰهُمَّ اٰتِنَا فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِى الْاٰخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Allaahumma aatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanatan, wa fil-aakhirati hasanatan, wa qinaa ‘adhaaban-Naar
Translation
O Allah! Give us in this world that, which is good and in the Hereafter that, which is good and save us from the torment of the Fire.
Whenever Anas (RA) had to supplicate he made this very supplication, and whenever he (intended) to make another supplication he (inserted) this very supplication in that.
