Al-Mash'ar al-Haram – Sacred Site in Muzdalifah

Narrated Jabir Ibn Abdillah (RA): At one point in his long hadith of the Hajj of the Prophet (ﷺ), he said, “Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) lay down until dawn. After the morning became clear, he performed the Fajr prayer with one Azan and one Iqamah. Then he came to Al-Mash'arul Haram on a Qaswaa [1].There he turned to the Qibla and supplicated to Allah and proclaimed the superiority, sovereignty and unity of Allah. He stayed there until the morning light became extremely bright. Then he left before the sun rose.' [2]
