89:15

فَأَمَّا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكْرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَكْرَمَنِ ١٥

Saheeh International

And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."

Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)

Wealth and Poverty are both a Test and Honor or Disgrace for the Servant فَأَمَّا الاْأِنسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَأهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِوَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَأهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ
