Tafsir of Al Araf Ayat 8 - Ibn Kathir

7:8

وَٱلْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ ٨

Saheeh International

And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the successful.

Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)

The Meaning of weighing the Deeds Allah said,وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَيِذٍ الْحَقُّ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـيِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَوَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـيِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِأيَاتِنَا يِظْلِمُونَ
