74:16
كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا عَنِيدًۭا ١٦
Saheeh International
No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
After all that he desires that I should give more.Nay! Verily, he has been opposing Our Ayat.meaning, obstinate.This refers to his ungratefulness for his blessings after knowing (these blessings).Allah says,سَأُرْهِقُهُ صَعُودًا
