72:14

وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلْقَـٰسِطُونَ ۖ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا۟ رَشَدًۭا ١٤

Saheeh International

And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah ], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.

Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)

وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا الْقَاسِطُونَAnd of us some are Muslims, and of us some are Al-Qasitun.meaning, `among us there is the Muslim and the Qasit.'The Qasit is he who behaves unjustly with the truth and deviates from it. This is the opposite of the Muqsit, the one who is just.فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُوْلَيِكَ تَحَرَّوْا رَشَدًاAnd whosoever has embraced Islam, then such have sought the right path.meaning, they sought salvation for themselves.وَأَمَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا
