65:9
فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهَا وَكَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ أَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا ٩
Saheeh International
And it tasted the bad consequence of its affair, and the outcome of its affair was loss.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهَاSo it tasted the evil result of its affair,meaning, they tasted the evil consequences of defiance and they regretted their actions when regret does not avail,وَكَانَ عَاقِبَةُ أَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا
