إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًۭا صَرْصَرًۭا فِى يَوْمِ نَحْسٍۢ مُّسْتَمِرٍّۢ ١٩
Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًۭا صَرْصَرًۭا فِى يَوْمِ نَحْسٍۢ مُّسْتَمِرٍّۢ ١٩

إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًاVerily, We sent against them a violently cold (Sarsar) windmeans, a bitterly cold and furious wind,فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍon a day of calamity,against them, according to Ad-Dahhak, Qatadah and As-Suddi,مُّسْتَمِرٍّcontinuous,upon them because the calamity, torment and destruction that they suffered in this life on that day continued with that of the Hereafter,تَنزِعُ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ
