وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍۢ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىٰ ٥٢
Saheeh International
And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُAnd the people of Nuh aforetime.before `Ad and Thamud,إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىVerily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing.more unjust in disobeying Allah than those who came after them,وَالْمُوْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَى
