إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌۭ ١٧
Saheeh International
When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ(Remember) that the two receivers receive,in reference to the two angels who receive and record the deeds of mankind.عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌone sitting on the right and one on the left.means ready to note
