4:147
مَّا يَفْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَءَامَنتُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًۭا ١٤٧
Saheeh International
What would Allah do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
مَّا يَفْعَلُ اللّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَامَنتُمْWhy should Allah punish you if you have thanked (Him) and have believed in Him.by correcting your actions and having faith in Allah and His Messenger.وَكَانَ اللّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًاAnd Allah is Ever All-Appreciative (of good), All-Knowing.Allah appreciates those who appreciate Him, and has knowledge of those whose hearts believe in Him, and He will give them perfect reward
