48:8
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ شَـٰهِدًۭا وَمُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا ٨
Saheeh International
Indeed, We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
Qualities of the Messenger of Allah Allah the Exalted says to His Prophet, Muhammad,إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًاVerily, We have sent you as a witness, (of the creation),وَمُبَشِّرًاas a bearer of glad tidings, (to the believers),وَنَذِيرًاand as a warner. (to the disbelievers).We explained these meanings in the Tafsir of Surah Al-Ahzab.Allah said
