47:9
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ ٩
Saheeh International
That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُThat is because they hate that which Allah has sent down;which means that they did not want or like what Allah revealed.فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْso He made their deeds fruitless.
