42:4
لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٤
Saheeh International
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الاَْرْضِTo Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth,means, everything is subject to His dominion and control.وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُand He is the Most High, the Most Great.This is like the Ayat:الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَعَالِthe Most Great, the Most High, (13:9)and, وَهُوَ الْعَلِىُّ الْكَبِيرُHe is the Most High, the Most Great, (22:62) And there are many similar Ayat
