The Story of Yunus Allah tells,وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَAnd verily, Yunus was one of the Messengers.We have already discussed the story of Yunus, peace be upon him, in Surah Al-Anbiya' (21:87-88) In the Two Sahihs it is reported that the Messenger of Allah said:مَا يَنْبَغِي لِعَبْدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّىIt is not right for any person to say I am better than Yunus bin Matta.إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
