36:43
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ ٤٣
Saheeh International
And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْAnd if We will, We shall drown them,means, those who are on board the ships.فَلَ صَرِيخَ لَهُمْand there will be no shout for them,means, there will be no one to save them from their predicament.وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَnor will they be saved.means, from what has befallen them
