22:42
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَعَادٌۭ وَثَمُودُ ٤٢
Saheeh International
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud deny [their prophets],

The Consequences for the Disbelievers Here Allah consoles His Prophet Muhammad for the disbelief of those among his people who opposed him.وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَثَمُودُوَقَوْمُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ
