21:12
فَلَمَّآ أَحَسُّوا۟ بَأْسَنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ ١٢
Saheeh International
And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
فَلَمَّا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَاThen, when they sensed Our torment, when they realized that the torment would undoubtedly come upon them, just as their Prophet had warned them,إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَbehold, they (tried to) flee from it.they tried to run away
