يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِهِۦ عِلْمًۭا ١١٠
Saheeh International
Allah knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge.
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْHe knows what happens to them and what will happen to them,He encompasses all creation with His knowledge.وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِهِ عِلْمًاbut they will never encompass anything of His knowledge.This is like His statement,وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَأءَAnd they will never encompass anything of His knowledge except that which He wills.
