إِنَّمَا سُلْطَـٰنُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُۥ وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِهِۦ مُشْرِكُونَ ١٠٠
Saheeh International
His authority is only over those who take him as an ally and those who through him associate others with Allah .
Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)
إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُHis power is only over those who obey and follow him (Shaytan),Mujahid said:"Those who obey him."Others said,"Those who take him as their protector instead of Allah."وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَand those who join partners with Him.means, those who associate others in worship with Allah
