Tafsir of Al Hijr Ayat 28 - Ibn Kathir

15:28

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًۭا مِّن صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ مِّنْ حَمَإٍۢ مَّسْنُونٍۢ ٢٨

Saheeh International

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.

Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)

The creation of Adam, the Command to the Angels to prostrate to Him, and the Rebellion of Iblis Allah tells:وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَيِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍفَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
