Tafsir of Hud Ayat 60 - Ibn Kathir

11:60

وَأُتْبِعُوا۟ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةًۭ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ عَادًۭا كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًۭا لِّعَادٍۢ قَوْمِ هُودٍۢ ٦٠

Saheeh International

And they were [therefore] followed in this world with a curse and [as well] on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, 'Aad denied their Lord; then away with 'Aad, the people of Hud.

Tafsir of "Ibn Kathir" (English)

وَأُتْبِعُواْ فِي هَـذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِAnd they were pursued by a curse in this world and (so they will be) on the Day of Resurrection.أَلا إِنَّ عَادًا كَفَرُواْ رَبَّهُمْNo doubt! Verily, `Ad disbelieved in their Lord.أَلَا بُعْدًا لِّعَادٍ قَوْمِ هُودٍSo away with `Ad, the people of Hud.
